Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of safety stock should be provided hypermart
Kupang based forecasting sales of one month to the next, to determine the optimal order
quantity and optimal frequency of purchase fresh fish products that must be met by hypermart
Kupang, and to determine the optimal reorder point. The method used in this research is
descriptive quantitative method. The method used in analyzing the supply of fresh fish
products is the method of EOQ.
The results showed that, the quantity of safety stock for the five types of fresh fish
consecutive years 2014-2015 was mackerel by 30 kg and 26.93 kg, red snapper amounted to
22.15 kg and 23.29 kg, barramundi for 29.45 kg and 30.25 kg, groupers of 16.45 kg and
18.69 kg, yellow tail fish amounted to 19.49 kg and 19.49 kg. Optimal order quantity for the
five types of fresh fish consecutive years 2014-2015 was mackerel amounted to 47.40 kg and
45.05 kg, red snapper amounted to 43.87 kg and 44.80 kg, barramundi is 43, 65 kg and 43.77
kg, groupers of 45.41 kg and 46.88 kg, yellow tail fish amounted to 44.04 kg and 43.70 kg
frequency reservations for the five types of fresh fish consecutive years from 2014 to 2015 is
mackerel of 23 times and 22 times, red snapper by 21 times and 22 times, barramundi by 22
times and 22 times, grouper by 20 times and 21 times, yellow tail fish by 22 times and 22
times. Reorder point for the five types of fresh fish consecutive years 2014-2015 was
mackerel amounted to 31.88 kg and 28.64 kg, red snapper amounted to 23.78 kg and 24.96
kg, barramundi at 31.08 kg and 31.88 kg, groupers of 18.03 kg and 20.36 kg, yellow tail fish
amounted to 21.16 kg and 21.16 kg.
