Abstract
The research aims to determine the role of parents and teachers in increasing the discipline of students at Silaipui State High School. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques using interactive Miles and Huberman analysis include data collection data collection data, drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that the teacher in increasing the discipline of students is to convey to students that learning time discipline is an obligation that should not be abandoned, giving knowledge that the discipline of the personality time they prepare facilities and infrastructure and directing students to study in classes when it’s time The role of parents as exemplary and train is to guide in instilling the attitude of discipline and giving good examples of children, such as routine in participating in social activities, discipline and being polite in the community. Children will continue to follow parents' behavior at home, so parents must provide a good example for children, such as dressing neatly and maintaining greetings and manners in the community.
